  18. I have uploaded a spark archive with a filename of arcjpeg112.
  19. It contains an application called !ArcJPEG which I have just written and
  20. want to releace as freeware.
  21. Below is some information about the program.

  27. The !ArcJPEG application provides a desktop front-end for the fourth release
  28. of the Independent JPEG Group's free JPEG software, the command-line
  29. programs "cjpeg" and "djpeg", which implement JPEG image compression and
  30. decompression.
  31. It will convert JPEG images to either PBMPlus, Targa or GIF file formats
  32. and also the reverse process, creation of a JPEG file from the above.
  33. Can be used in conjunction with either !Translator or !ChangeFSI to display
  34. JPEG files.

  39. * Full control of all features provided by version four of and djpeg and
  40.   most of cjpeg.
  41. * Destination file hotlinks
  42. * Application hotlinks
  43. * Multitasking file conversion (in RiscOS3 or in RiscOS2 if you have dde)
  44. * Quick opening of options and file information windows by clicking on
  45.   iconbar icon with select and adjust (configurable)
  46. * Uses new features in RiscOS3, such as solid icon drags (when selected in
  47.   CMOS ram, see note at end of file), but still remaining compatible with
  48.   RiscOS2
